Changes to some post-retirement benefits coverage for eligible retirees and survivors

The Government of Ontario has announced upcoming post-retirement insured benefit improvements for Public Service Pension Plan (PSPP) retirees or survivors enrolled in the Legacy plans (Policy No.157836 & Policy No.169493).

The change relates to services provided by a psychotherapist practicing under the supervision of a registered psychologist retroactive to November 18, 2018. All incurred eligible claims for these services on or after November 18, 2018, that were not previously reimbursed, can now be submitted during a one-time window from September 1, 2024, to December 31, 2024.
